First Baptist Church of Sylacauga fulfills the Great Commission as we partner with these outside organizations in three very specific ways: 
Congregational Support is sometimes provided through specific church budget line items or special worship service offerings.
Small Group Support is more commonly provided through Bible classes and mission groups that adopt certain partners.
Individual Support by our First Baptist membership dramatically increases the reach of our church family as we share Christ.
The Southern Baptist Convention is the largest Protestant denomination in America. We seek to share the gospel with everyone on earth and make disciples of all nations. The best method for doing so is supporting the Cooperative Program.
The Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions seeks to fulfill one mission—the Great Commission, through one program—the Cooperative Program, by supporting many different kinds of ministries—all of which are Great Commission Ministries. 
The Coosa River Baptist Association is comprised of 67 cooperating churches. Together, we partner in promoting a variety of outreach missions and ministries designed to impact Greater Talladega County with the message of the gospel.
Coosa Valley Resources for Women is an organization that offers free medical quality pregnancy tests, facts concerning pregnancy options, practical information and spiritual counsel.
All of the services offered are both free and confidential. 
Care House was formed in 1986 as a cooperative ministry of Sylacauga churches. This ministry provides food and clothing to needy families. Hours are Monday through Thursday from 9 AM until noon. The Care House is located at 103 S. Broadway.
Alabama Citizens Action Program is a resource committed to the promotion of a moral lifestyle based on biblical standards. Issues include gambling, alcohol, drug abuse, pro-life causes and anti-pornography interests, among many others.
The Zeigler Prison Ministry was founded in 2002 by Bloise Zeigler to provide work release inmates with an opportunity to experience Sunday School, a worship service and a fellowship meal on the campus of Sylacauga's First Baptist Church. 
The ARC of South Talladega County is an organization that is committed to assist in the development and care of children and adults with intellectual disabilities. This mission includes efforts in legislative advocacy and family member support.
The Lay Lake Chapel is an inter-denominational ministry begun in 1994 providing Sunday morning services for those in the Lay Lake area. This beautiful country chapel overlooks the historic pioneer village and is reminiscent of early American life.
Healing Haiti is a missions organization committed to helping the people of Haiti in many ways—by providing food and water, medical attention, orphan care and elder care. In this way, we share the gospel among people facing enormous poverty. 
The Center for Strategic Missions led by founder Dan Moran is a ministry organization focused on evangelism, discipleship and next generation leadership development among ministries in Honduras, Indonesia, Ireland and Italy. 
Alabama Childhood Food Solutions is an organization that provides thousands of food bags to children in Shelby, Coosa and Talladega Counties. Ending food insecurity is a worthy endeavor assisting thousands of children in our area.  
Connect 316 is a ministry fellowship celebrating the theology of traditional Southern Baptists like Herschel Hobbs and Adrian Rogers. This group also endorses certain ministry practices and leadership principles traditionally embraced in Baptist life.
Vapor Sports Ministries establishes self-sustaining centers for humanitarian aid and discipleship in third-world countries. Functioning alongside churches, the ministry alleviates poverty, utilizes sports to develop youth, and equips spiritual mentors.
The Coosa Valley Ministerial Association is an organization of ministers in the Greater Sylacauga area who come together for community worship services, charitable causes, fellowship and the prayerful support of a variety of community endeavors.
The 112 Mission Center is a ministry located in the downtown area of Sylacauga committed to providing for the needy in our community. Cafe 112 serves a free hot meal every Thursday from 11 AM to 1 PM as a practical way of showing God's love.
Meals on Wheels is a national network of more than 5,000 Senior Nutrition Programs in America. An army of more than two million volunteers delivers a nutritious meal, a warm smile and a safety check to 2.5 million senior adults nationally.
A Higher Plane is a construction missions team in which many of the members of our church family come together to assist persons with disabilities who would not otherwise be able to access the entrance to their homes. 
The Ministry Training Institute at Samford University equips Christians to be leaders in their churches and communities through theological education and practical ministry training. Classes are held at the Coosa River Baptist Association office.
The Gideons International is an association of business and professional men and their wives dedicated to telling people about Jesus by sharing personally and by providing Bibles and New Testaments in schools, prisons, hospitals and hotels.
Rick and Mick Ministries reaches youth and adults through various programs in schools and churches. Using comedy and music, they have presented the gospel in all fifty states and in fifteen foreign countries, leading thousands to faith in Christ.
The Baptist Medical and Dental Mission International is an organization making life better for thousands in Honduras and Nicaragua through medical and dental care, Bible Institutes, Children's Homes, schools, food, water and sharing the gospel.
Every Believer a Witness is a ministry organization that equips people in sharing the gospel with their family, friends, neighbors, classmates and co-workers. Participants learn to be intentional in sharing their story, distributing tracts and praying for others.
