Naomi Sewing Circle

The Naomi Sewing Circle is a group of women whose mission over the past 38 years has been to make clothing for the poor and needy. We make lap robes, walker bags, throw quilts for the nursing homes, knitted hats and booties for cancer patients.  We also make shrouds, bonnets, toys, booties and receiving blankets for the new born babies in our local hospital.  While fulfilling our mission endeavors, we enjoy true Christian fellowship with each other. We are blessed.

Location:  Fellowship Hall
Meeting Days:  1st and 3rd Monday
Time:  9:30 AM

NEWS FROM THE NAOMI SEWING CIRCLE
Jesus asks us to “feed the hungry and clothe the poor.” We are all aware that
the church’s food pantry workers are busy filling bags of food for the local needy, but
are you aware that the Naomi Sewing Circle ladies are doing their best to help
clothe the poor? Our display today is to show you what you can do to help make
our mission even more successful. We really need more sewers to make clothing,
so if you sew, would you use your special talent and help us out? We meet
the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month (check the bulletin) from 10:00 am to
2 pm. Or, if you prefer to sew at home, just drop by, pick out a pattern, pick out
the material, and put a smile on some child’s face. We need you, the children
need you, and you need the wonderful feeling of answering Jesus’ call to “clothe
the poor”. By the way, we welcome all donations of good clean material, sewing
notions, and yarn. (Money helps, too) .Any questions, see us in the Narthex.
