Our Congregation
|
The congregation at FUMC Jupiter-Tequesta is diverse in age, occupation, and background. Many of those choosing to join our Church Family do not have a church background, while a surprising number of our members come to us from a more formal tradition. Others are "life-long" Methodists and are looking for a friendly church with a traditional worship experience where extraordinary music and fine arts predominate. Since its beginning, FUMC Jupiter-Tequesta has been a place where people of all ages and stages can call "home." We consider all ministries -- from toddlers to seniors -- to be of equal importance. No matter the age, circumstance or background of those joining our Church Family, there is a ministry and service opportunity which will suit that person's interests, time, and talents. A "warm and friendly church" is often how FUMC Jupiter-Tequesta is described. We have a growing membership of approximately 300 people.
