The following simple guidelines and ideas will help make your first visit to St. Timothy a more relaxing and enjoyable one.
1. Before You Arrive
a. Choose a worship SERVICE to attend.
b. Get directions to the CHURCH.
c. When travelling to the church think about where you're going to park. While we do have onsite parking, the best place to park is across the street from the church in the Michael's and K-Mart parking lot. A police officer will be on duty to help you across Asbury Dr.
d. Think ahead about where you need to go.
2. When You Arrive
a. If you have kids, and they aren't staying with you for worship, get them to the nursery and/or to their appropriate class. (There is a Children's Information Desk outside the Family Life Center if you need help.)
b. Make your way to the Sanctuary. You can find the Sanctuary by looking for the steeple and following the crowd. There is an information desk in the Narthex (the glassed in area at the back of the church) where you can pick up a Welcome Packet and have questions answered. An usher will be handing out bulletins, take one and sit wherever you feel comfortable. The multi-media screens and/or bulletin will guide you through the service.
3. Now What?
a. If you filled out a "Response Card" during one of our worship services and indicated that you are a first-time visitor, you will be contacted by a member of our church who will send you an information packet and will be able to answer any questions you might have.
