Disaster Relief
PURPOSE STATEMENT
Our team exists to meet the needs of the members of Seagrove Baptist Church before, during and after we are under a hurricane watch and/or warning.
We use Jesus as the perfect example of a servant caring for His flock, so we in turn volunteer our time, talents, and resources to be servants for our Seagrove Baptist flock during these times of need.
STATE ASSISTANCE
Permission has been given to the Florida Baptist Convention for our church grounds to be used as a command center for their Disaster Relief Team. This will also include the feeding vans as well as other assistance to the people in and around our community.
Everyone who has been under a hurricane watch and/or warning knows how stressful it can be, but by pulling together as a team during these times, we hope to reduce as much stress as possible.
If you have changed locations, added a new family member or any other vital information on your current Disaster Form within the past 6 months, please go by the church office and fill out a new form so this updated information can get to our team and the appropriate changes can be made to your current file.
If you are a new member to our church and have not filled out a Disaster Form as of yet, please do so as soon as possible so your name can be added to our Team's list and the appropriate people can be assigned to your home.
Thank you for your help in this matter,
Rev. Stanley Durham, Senior Pastor
