Who is Jesus? Why do I need Him? How do I respond to Him?
If you're like most people, you've heard of the name of JESUS. You may think of Him as a man who lived a really long time ago. But have you ever wondered if He could make a difference in your life?
What Does God Want From Me?
God loves you and wants to have an ongoing relationship with you. He wants to be a part of your life decisions. He wants you to be free from your past, sins, guilt and shame, and from addiction.
God's Plan For You
God sent his son, Jesus to earth to rescue us from our sins. Jesus was crucified by people just like you and me who didn't understand who didn't understand who He was or why He had come. Jesus willingly died on the cross to save us from our sins.
The Bible tells that Jesus rose after three days. God raised Jesus from the dead just at He will do at the end of time for those who have accepted Him as their Savior.
There is a day coming when the world as we know it will cease, and all people will stand before God to be judged.
You can either accept Jesus' death on your behalf or you can reject it. If you reject Jesus, you will stand before God on the day of Judgment and give an account of your life only to hear God say, "Depart from Me, I never knew you." Or you can choose to accept Him as your personal Savior, and know that you will spend eternity with Him.
If you would like to make the decision to accept Him now, here's all you need to do:
1. Come to Him just as you are. You don't have to wait until you
feel like you are good enough.
2. Admit that you are a sinner.
3. Be willing to turn from your sins.
4. Believe in your heart that Jesus is the Son of God. That He died
and rose from the dead and that He lives in Heaven with God.
5. Ask Jesus to come into your heart and live and save you
from your sins.
Prayer For Salvation
"Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and in need of your forgiveness. I believe that you died to pay for my sins and that you rose from the grave.
I ask you to forgive me of my sins and come into my heart and be my Savior and Lord.
I ask this in your name. AMEN"
Revelations 3:20 says: "Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door; I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with Me."
If you meant what you just prayed, you have received the forgiveness of God and have been accepted into His family. You are a new believer in Jesus Christ!
