Missions

First Baptist Church is active in missions in Bethany

and in the States of Missouri and Iowa.

During our annual "Mission Bethany" we strive to

provide assistance to local residents through missions projects

as well as reaching out to the lost and those without church families.

After the tragic tornado in Joplin in 2011, we established a

parternership to provide assistance to residents of the

Joplin area in"Mission Joplin."

We have also established a partnership with

new church plants in Southern Iowa.

First Baptist Church supports missions through:

The Food Pantry is in need of the following items. Each family is

asked to bring one item each week and place it in the grocery

cart at the church.

Sauerkraut Ravioli Peas Spaghetti & Meatballs Mixed Vegetables

Pineapple Saltine Crackers Spinach Beets Tomatoes

Sweet Potatoes Soups Pears

We collect a 5th Sunday Community Compassion Offering which is used

to assist local families in need.
