Hiking Group

Welcome to the Tennessee Trails Association!

We started up with a HFUMC Hiking Group in May, 2009, and we have had some great hikes in the past two years. We teamed up with the Sumner County Chapter of the Tennessee Trails Association about a year ago. This partnership will allow us to offer more hiking opportunities each month, as well as monthly meetings with fantastic speakers. Below you will find information on our upcoming outings. We try to do a variety of hikes each month, including short, easy walks and more strenuous ones. Some of the more interesting places to hike require a bit of driving. If you are new to hiking, you might want to start with an easy or moderate hike. To sign up for a hike, please contact the hike leader listed for the event. It's helpful for us to know who is coming, so that we can contact you in case we need to cancel a hike or give you more information about the hike. Be sure to check back often!
